Our member volunteers are celebrateed for the many hundreds
of hours expended in the past and present in supporting various civic
organizations. These include the Thielke Arboretum, the Friends of the Glen
Rock Public Library Book Sale, the Glen Rock Garden Club Plant Sale, the
G.R.E.E.N. Recycling Center, the Meals on Wheels Program, the Veterans Home in
Paramus (see Veterans Home), the Valley Hospital and the Hermitage in Hohokus.
In addition, our Club volunteers have supported our sponsor, the Community Church
of Glen Rock, with various special projects. The Chairman announces the latest volunteering opportunities at the monthly
General Club Meeting and in the NewsLine.
